Egypt's National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority granted Hassan Allam Digital Infrastructure and Data Centre Solutions a licence on 15 June 2026 to establish and operate data centres and provide cloud services, for a project with a stated US$400m initial phase delivered with Egyptian technology firm A15. The licence announcement did not name a specific site or give a capacity figure; the NTRA said ten data centre licences have been issued over the past two years.
